Anyone who\u2019s lived in Gauteng will know about thunderstorms and lightning. It can be a frightening experience when the storm clouds gather on the highveld. In Psalm 29 the believer looks at a storm that comes in from the ocean. A powerful storm that causes trees two split in two, shakes the hills and makes the animals run in flight. Knowing that the LORD is in charge of this storm he likens the thunder to the voice of God and sees this natural phenomenon as a testimony to God\u2019s awesome power. The LORD is enthroned over the flood, the waters are controlled by him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Singing this song we proclaim that the LORD is the King who rules over creation. Because he is also our Father for the sake of Christ, we know that he works all things for our good and so we have the confidence to cry \u2018Glory!\u2019 in the midst of the storm where others fear for their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
