GKSA Church Order Article 69
In the churches the 150 Psalms, the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Twelve Articles of Faith and the Hymns of praise of Mary, Zacharias and Simeon must be sung. Other metrical translations of Scripture and Scripturally faithful hymns which have been approved by the synod are left to the freedom (jurisdiction) of the churches.

By God’s grace, a growing number of churches in the GKSA have begun to minister God’s Word in the English language. On this website you will find all the songs that have been approved for use in the GKSA during worship services in accordance with Church Order Article 69. You will also find information regarding our liturgy.

In order to access the lyrics and sheet music for the songs, you will need to enter the member code. This code ensures that copyright material is not freely distributed online. The member code is shared on request with all churches in the GKSA. The code can also be shared with churches from other fellowships subject to approval. Please contact wymiedup@gksa.co.za.
